Roads' End - The Strangers & Travelers Tomb

If you are a traveler passing through the City of Splendors, this one story tomb is where you are laid to rest should the worst befall you. One of Ahghairon’s original portal tombs, this small mausoleum holds centuries of remains from, arguably, all over the Realms. Don’t think that this service is performed completely free of charge: the charges are deducted from any of the unclaimed possessions the poor sod left behind. With that said, burial there isn’t terribly expensive, and thus no one is certain how much wealth really lies in its crypts. A number of wealthy adventurers have been laid to rest here, so the rumors of untold wealth may actually have some basis in fact. Attempted robberies are regular and have been for centuries. Not even the current state of the City of the Dead seems to deter them, gods be kind.
