Yna Mjrwin
Everyone thought Yna Mjrwin was dead.
Yves' grandmother is a viera of indeterminate age who makes style feel very natural, in that she is close with nature and has never looked unprepared or unaware. She wears a long black dress, the hem spun into writhing vines that sway with and against the wind, with tall black boots that are never discolored or smudged by the weather or terrain. A furry golden shawl wraps around her shoulders, a shawl that is most certainly a living, breathing creature. She carries a walking stick, gnarled wood topped in amber and frozen red leaves.
Yna made her existence known to Yves and his party during the Jozech raid, adjusting the traps and barricades within the caves to be decidedly more dangerous to their Albarean pursuers. She immediately asked Yves to come join her work destroying industries and ensuring the safety of nature, but Yves declined. She allowed her grandson to introduce her to his friends and give a tour of the Starfall, and when she was secure in the knowledge that her grandson was well taken care of, she left aboard an island-sized flying whale.

- Traumatized Linnet.
INVESTIGATIONS
- One (Linnet, 57): The bounty for the death of The Bitter Wind, a viera ecoterrorist accused of single-handedly ending the whaling industry and sinking over twelve ships, was claimed six years ago by a group of bounty hunters named The Dark Order. Unfortunately, The Dark Order perished during a team-building exercise in the Rinkan Mountains eight months later.
- Two (Linnet, 80.2): The bounty for the death of Fireforge, a viera ecoterrorist accused of collapsing a mine with twenty workers inside to save a rare species of lizard, was claimed twenty-one years ago by a hunter who only went by "Clive." Clive was seen boarding a ship that night, but never disembarked at the ship's destination, and was never seen again.
- One (Yves, 79.1): Yna spent two years embedded with a family of behemoths in deep Caerwyn, and according to a young girl who mistakenly wandered too deep into the forest, the "nice old lady could speak with the behemoths! And I got to ride one back out so I didn't get trapped inside the forest forever!" Aren't all grandparents good with kids? You must get a book that tells you how to do that when you become a grandparent.
- Two (Yves, 38): Yna went to Cardia! She found and nursed a baby dragon back to health after its mothers were killed in a terrible industrial accident. She learned how to manipulate the aether of the elements from the dragon, which was very nice for the dragon to do, and shows that we all can respect our elders. What a nice woman.
- Three (Yves, 40): Yna once journeyed to the bottom of the ocean just to rescue a wise old whale held fast in an ancient trap. This won her the undying loyalty of the Cetrassans. Noble and selfless, of course they would adore her! What's a Cetrassan? (Quest Unlocked, starts in Thalatte)
- Four (Yves, 40.1): Yna is ready to pass along her gifts of the forest to her grandson. Meet her at the Howling Eye. Oh boy!
