Viera

Viera never seem quite at home in cities. The tall and willowy viera are usually found overseeing sustainable logging enterprises in the forests, tending grazing chocobos in the plains, tilling the fields in the farmlands, or hunting game in the wild. Viera in the larger cities of Ducorde are a relatively recent occurrence, and they, more than any other, try to stick near their own kind. Viera place a lot of importance on harmony in their environment, and cities factor into that; viera try not to force the world around them to change, and instead aim to fit in as quietly and conscientiously as possible.
Viera are renowned for their remarkable hearing, due to their foot-long ears. Averaging six and a half feet tall without the ears, viera are easy to spot in almost any crowd, which perhaps doesn’t help their unease in dense societies. Viera favor natural fabrics and earth tones in their clothing, though many younger viera enjoy a myriad of piercings in their ears.
