Moogle

Ducorde has seen technology increase rapidly over since the fall of Alterna, with entire industries springing up around concepts that did not exist even a few years before. For every advancement that has made everyday life a little easier, there are nine other concepts that barely made a dent in society. Moogles are found at every level of this process, usually hammering out the dents and apologizing.

Culturally, moogles trend toward tinkering and science — they’ve always been interested in how things work. Moogles travel the world, working as archaeologists and explorers and deep sea divers and anything else that will get them out into the great outdoors or deep into the racks in libraries. Fairly solitary creatures, they’re happy being self-sufficient.

Topping out at about five feet, moogles tend toward slight builds, good hats, pompom adornments, and catlike ears. The wings are basically ornamental, though young moogles are able to glide for short distances, usually into a lake while giggling.
