H'Esper

The god of knowledge and arcane magic. H'Espers domain is that of knowledge and libraries. His followers and temples are all enormous libraries. The followers of H'Esper make offerings of knowledge for his blessings

Physical Manifestation

Manifests as a 12 foot tall owl with a third eye set in the middle of his head.

History

H'Esper is the child of the original god of magic. When a power hungry mage destroyed his father with the immense magical power once available to mortals. The mortal that slayed the god of magic failed to realize that all magic flowed through that divine entity, and without him, the mortal could not contain the dam that was all Dyramaterra's magic. When it destroyed him, H'Esper rose to his fathers role, and wove the magic into the lay lines that now encircle the world. This reconstituting the worlds magic kicked off the God's War as the old gods and their mortal armies began their assault of the divine planes.

The war lasted for a bitter millennium, only coming to an end when the H'Espre, Melona, Bahamut and Avandra worked together with their followers to build the cradle, and cut the gods off from the mortal plane.
