20: The Campus Tour

General Summary

• The party individually decided to work with Revyit.
• He informed them that Rakina is in the other room being cared for
• He asked what way they wanted to proceed: The infiltration route or the external insertion route.
• The party decided to infiltrate in order to get a footing in the cult
• They decided not to use Revyits contact inside for fear of getting ousted if they were found by association
• They came up with the collective story that they heard about this place during a night of drinking
• Beyond that the party all individually came up with new personas
• Radon became Elizibeth: a woman spurned by her husband in search of eternal youth
• Keisuke became Bertrand: a man looking for a place to revive a lost love one
• Lola became Shaya Lebuef: a woman looking to extend her lovers life so that they don't have to feel the pain of separation
• Gaelin became Katar Virsys: a man who is a alcoholic deserter from the Gaulversian military, who is looking for a cause to fight for and a place to belong.
• All of them went into a week of living as their identity getting into character.
• Radon Gaelin and Lola went to the location of the cult that is known: Pherisa's School for Gifted children. a wealthy private school that was shut down after an incident where 3 children were killed due to faulty protection runes.
• They went to the front gate where they were greeted by a human who gave them a suspicious once over.
• They  gave the beginning phrase: "Stay Learn Feast Know"
• Gaelin returned the phrase "They  do not lie like the rest"
• They were given entry and brought into the campus.
• Some sections of this large campus still have grass growing despite the fact that it is winter there is a decent amount of heat that comes off these sections
• There they were brought to Concerta. a Small woman in a wheelchair with a soft voice and  long blonde hair with blue eyes.
• She is accompanied by a large half orc fire gensai man with a stoic gaze and a blunt intonation.
• Concerta began giving them the tour asking why they joined. and expressing her elation that they had decided to come. 
• When the party asked why she was there, she told them that this was a place that accepted her when her parents abandoned her.
• Horris relayed why he is here is a similar reason.
• The party had lunch. which was not human fleash
• After which they got a tour of some of the classrooms which have been repurposed as shooting ranges and places to learn chronomancy.
• Then they went to the last destination. a large black and grey clock tower. 
• The Party was asked to make a wisdom saving throw. 
• Gaelin and Lola succeeded being enthralled by the tower. wanting to see more of it and get towards it
• While Radon was now hearing a faint echoing of a beating heart. and was frightened 
• The tour concluded at the top of the tower where they could see over the entire campus and onto the streets of Risshaven beyond the gilded fences of the campus.
