14: The FEDS

General Summary

• The Party Stayed at the prides perch during the mist. Sleeping through it.
• After the mist faded the party tried to bring Rakina up on the sending stone but received no response.
• Worried the Party headed to the RPD to investigate where they were stopped by a police barricade
• Gaelin went in to investigate , while the rest of the party went to gather info from the area.
• Gaelin was informed the FEDs from the UPK were here by Ranbeg , When he entered the police station he found it filled with people in lab coats and Suits.
• There Gaelin was instructed by Federal Inspector Leva to gather the people who know of this event and bring them here.
• He gathered Valintino who upon hearing that they wanted everyone who knew about the incident, promptly payed for his meal at the cafe then left.
• Lola Keisuke and Gaelin joined up and headed into the police station.
• Upon hearing Valentino had fled they sent a hunter squad after him.
• There they were brought into the basement where the body of Johnathan was.
• There they found more blood stains and a severed leg.
• Despite constant asking Detective Leva wouldn't tell them whose leg it was, and continued to ask for a full briefing on the events of the investigation.
• Eventually they let slip that they were going to wipe their memories of this investigation.
• They also finally told them that the leg was in fact Rakinas
• Through some high rolls they were able to convince them to not fully wipe their memory. only the things after they put Johnathan into custody.
• The Memory wiping mages showed up.
• One of the two being Revyi Murdok. the man who saved them on new years
• Eventually he revealed to them that he was in fact the man responsible for the ban on chronomancy.
• The party received their memory wipe. Lola and Gaelin not actually receiving it by some sneakiness from Revyit
• The three of them headed to the prides perch where upon they heard from Tobi that Valintino came by and was acting strange saying "I musn't forget"
• They convinced Tobias to give them the spare key to Valentino's room. where upon opening it a bottle of methanol dropped onto Lola's head.
• The place was almost burned down due to this since Lola's sparking hair, but she kept it under control.
• They found a note that heavely implied that he was heading to Tevon's Butchery. the location of their next lead.
• When they arrived they came to the sight of police blinkers police tape, and Valintino dead on the floor by the looks of Sucide
