General Summary

Amidst Fire & Blood (Worms)

As the creature covered in writhing worms and blazing fire began to take steps towards them, the Deep End began to turn tail and run. A bit slower out of the gate, Ghilani was slapped across the back by a chain... and felt like this thing wasn't too bad. It's pretty cool actually, why would you attack it? However, he does have other friends including Widow who started dragging him for fear he'd try and stay with the creature.

After quickly apologizing to Newt and stating his confidence in Newt's abilities, Ghilani magically yeeted himself and everyone else far away from the flaming creature, leaving Newt alone with it. However, Newt was able to successfully hide in a pile of bones and then tail after it... following its trail of worms and flesh, still somewhat on fire.
Near the exit of the tunnel, Rani turned invisible and waited for Ghilani to run by before ripping Bonebreaker's talisman off his arm. The voices fall silent and Ghilani realizes that he is no longer part of the hoard.
Panicking slightly, Moira sent to angsty boy. He assured her that he has everything under control. Continue to the Coliseum. He will alert Noel.
Emerging in the Coliseum, the Chains of War (the COW) soon burrowed up from below. Although only a moderate crowd at this hour, the Coliseum erupted into whispers, shock, and shouts. The Prince Elect and Nakir appeared in the box, both looking taken aback. The Chains of War spread their arms, seeming to bask in the feeling of the Coliseum and invigorated by the presence and cries of the crowd. And then Newt crawled out shortly after.
Noel was able to join the combat, leaping into the Coliseum without qualms and summoning a Barrier of Bones around Moira to protect her. The flaming entity then mimicked Noel, summoning its own Barrier of Bones. Newt attempted to persuade the Prince Elect to fight... and then Ghilani was ensnared by something magical  and unseen - albeit familiar - that dug into his flesh, drawing blood. After misty stepping out of that, something invesible chomped down on his shoulder from behind. Feeling its presence, but still not seeing it, Ghilani put it in time out and ran away... only to realize that whatever it was had started to dig.
The Chains of War seemed aware of the new combatant as its attention momentary shifted while Widow, Rani, and Noel slashed and hacked at it with Newt and Ezra firing shots from a bit further away. Ghilani was then taken down (the creature is very fond of his shoulder apparently) as Cheveyo joined the fight, seeming to immediately identify where the threat was.
After casting Moon Beam on the creature's location, the Parasitic Stalker was revealed: a grotesque thing of blood, worms, puss, and writhing flesh. Shortly after, Noel felled the Chains of War as her greataxe passed through its midsection. It erupted into a being of pure fire and smoke began to cover the arena. Rani heard shouts from the stands as people exclaimed that the statue of Ragna had begun to shift, taking on a more enraged elemental appearance. Ghilani watched as the Stalker vanished once more before being engulfed by smoke. Newt managed to catch Nakir's eye. The consort winked before his view was obscured. Cried sounded from the Prince Elect's box.
Within the smoke, the fire elemental gave way to a fire genasi woman standing over 7 feet tall and composed of pure muscle. Lava cascaded from the bottom of her dreads and black tallies lined her upper arms.
Vad... you wretched, writhing, cowardly vermin. Always a thorn in my side. Who have you found now to hide your miserable, poor excuse for a corpse?

Ragna, the Goddess of War, expressed her gratitude for both breaking the binding on her and for the enjoyable fight. As she glanced at Noel, she mentioned that perhaps it is time for a change. As the Goddess vanished, the smoke cleared.
Rani sensed the Stalker's presence right before it entered Ezra. Unable to cast a spell to remove it, Ghilani opted to fire magic missiles down Ezra's throat. Ezra doubled over in pain as he felt something pressing painfully against his ribcage. Seeing that she had no other choice, Rani cut down Ezra and the Stalker emerged from his chest. Moira, seeing its invisible form sent a guiding bolt at it... doing just enough damage to eviscerate it into a smattering of viscera, puss, and blood... with one large, fat blood worm that Cheveyo promptly bound and sealed away.
Returning to Ezra's body, Cheveyo - now rapidly aging, closed Ezra's chest as Rani used a scroll of Revivify to bring him back. Coughing and clearly shaken, he pulled Rani close and assured her that he was fine, that it had to be done. He does not begrudge her for her actions.

Removing his mask, Cheveyo looks much older. The blue-haired man mentioned that Moira - although not quite Moira - visited him last night. It wishes to leave her as she has not been helpful in acquiring the answers it seeks. It was told to be kinder... so it is trying to not harm her. Widow asked if the Dread King had been hidden from the gods' view. Cheveyo remarked that a powerful force may have tampered with memories. Is it possible to remove a God's ire? Anything is possible... though not without effort. Cheveyo seemed gratefuly that Rani requested to know how he'd like to be buried. He seems unconcerned as he will return to ash, but when all is done and your quest finished: destroy his mask. No one should have to hunt again. With a final sigh, Cheveyo turned to dust, taken away with the wind.
After recovering from their battle and leaving Ezra to rest, the Deep End responded a summons to the Elect's box. There, they found Noel awkwardly standing fiddling with an ornate chest decorated with the carving of a red dragon. The Prince Elect is dead... and with the fight, it is likely she will be named the next Elect if she stakes a claim to it. She is thankful, especially to Rani. She will not be alone in ruling and a masked figure, Noel's twin, seems fully confident that he can handle the mundane and trying aspects of ruling. Removing his mask, he revealed himself to be Nakir, Ezekiel, and clearly a changeling.
The masked figures pressed Moira on what lies within her. Are you so sure you're in as much control as you think you are? Widow assured him that she was. Noel quickly apologized for her brother. She then offered gifts from Ragna. The Coliseum is the Goddess of War's temple after all. She presented Rani with a boon as well as a belt, one that looks like the one Noel herself wears.
As a member of the Rose Collective, Noel's brother, Leon, deals in information. He mentioned that there is a Rose Collective member in Eredet. Of course, they will find you. Rani asked about members in Lark'Hal and mentioned some information and details about the woman she believes is a threat to her and her family. Leon agrees that their interests are aligned and is moving to place more of his agents there. He has heard rumors about a performer in Lark'Hal. He is keeping a watch on it, but it is nothing of great concern now.
Descending back down through the Coliseum levels, Matron Seven is pleased and assured the group that will temper Bonebreaker's fury. She thanked them and promised to ask Mistress 8 to meet them outside of Eredet. After spending an hour with Rani's blades... Rani was assaulted by the sound o fher name on repeat in two different voices. The sentience of her weapons has been restored. Although well over a thousand years old, Suraksha and Vinaash seem to bicker like children, but defer to Rani's judgement. They are quite happy to be free of the Grandmothers' tent and look forward to the next adventure.
