Mama Ten
The caretaker of Groen's Wood, "Mama Ten", as she's called, is a quirky shifter woman and, also, a blood witch. An incredibly talkative woman, she enjoys entertaining travelers in her somewhat cluttered, but homey, cabin usually only asking for small odd trinkets in return. Like other blood witches, she is in possession of a unique tome that is closed to the prying eyes of others.
Under a crafted illusion, she hides a face and shoulder littered and torn by horrendous scars - a relic from a time long past. She has claimed to be older than the Dread King and to have turned back his forces when they attempted to pass through her woods. However, nowadays, she seems to be interested mostly in herbalism and "frolicking amidst the woods" at night, as she claims.
