Adjacent
The patterns along the massive Gate in the cosmos begin to pulse with greater frequency and intensity. The glowing, interwoven lines begin to move and shift, taking on different shapes until they resemble a vague silhouette. Humanoid, but not quite. The neck, abdomen, and forearms seem a bit too long and there are no legs to the silhouette, just the illusion of them. Two bright glowing motes form and then the silhouette moves, stepping straight out of the wall. Beams of light are pried away from the large structure looming overhead, weaving together like threads and darkening to form a cloak that gracefully falls to rest over the silhouette's shoulders as they clasp their hands together and smile. The patterns from the door have now been retained on portions of their form – including the entirety of their arms. On the center of their forehead... a glowing symbol of an ouroboros.
I believe... this is the common tongue on your planet, correct? Excellent! It has been so terribly long since I've been able to speak with another creation! I was beginning to suspect that no one from Dremora would ever make it here again! Dremora, yes? That is what you refer to your world as, yes?
Known formally as "Adjacent", this otherworldly entity is... an Adjacent. They are a creature created by The One to serve as the Greater Deity of Creation's servant, companion, and general "overseer of affairs". As they are the spawn of a Creator, they exhibit some tendencies and abilities of creation; they are able to create paths from the cosmos, create light and bend it to their will, and even create small offshoots of themselves to carry out tasks. Adjacent is generally incredibly bubbly, positive, and happy. Above all else, however... they are loyal.
