Trader's Way

Demographics

As its colloquial name, 'the City of Three', suggests, Dwarves and Elves call the city of Trader's Way home just as much as the Humans there do. Trader's Way boasts the fact that it is one of the most diverse cities in all of Dremlia. Nestled between the Canthis Forest and the Dwarven keep of Mon'Tuk, both Elves and Dwarves are a common sight in this bustling city. From 'proper' Dwarf merchants constantly traveling through and exiled Dwarves settling the city, to Elven caravans trading their rare forest goods for things that can only be found in a city, all people are welcome in Trader's Way.

Industry & Trade

With a steady trade from the Dwarven craftsmen of Mon'Tuk and the Sylvan traders from the nearby Canthis Forest, Trader's Way is where rare and often sought after items can be found. Outside of the immensely wealthy cities of Mortem, Trader's Way is one of the riches places in Dremlia. Artisans from all over travel to Trader's Way to learn their craft from the Dwarves that call the city home. With the city's position along the Tradesman River, any and all trade or travel along the river must pass through the city. Trader's Way is known by many as the 'center of the world'.

Tourism

A saying amongst the Humans: "All travelers pass through the City of Three". With its fortunate position in the center of the Aurian Empire, the city of Trader's Way sees more outsiders passing through than any city in all of Dremlia. From adventuring parties, trading caravans, and noble retinues to pupil artisans, runaway outcasts, and traveling scholars, any and all kinds of people pass beneath the famed crystal arches that greet all to the majesty that is Trader's Way. With no other city like it in all the lands, many come from all over just to catch a glimpse of the beauty that comes with the unity of Dwarven ingenuity, Elven grace, and Human ambition.
