Utility

The Aurian Credit is the main kind of currency used across the lands of Dremlia. Once a barter based society, the Aurian Credit, or simply 'credit', was made to make commerce and trade easier, especially between those from different regions. While barter depends on familiarity and trust, the Aurian Credit brought objectivity to the economy of Dremlia.

Manufacturing

Officially recognized Aurian Credit's can only be made in two places. The Bank of Bludd in the city of Medholm, in the Principality of Mortem, or the Imperial Mint in the city of Aldfast in the Aurian Empire. The coins are made from either copper, silver, gold, or red-gold, depending on the value of the coin. Once the coins are made they are stamped with the the imperial stamp to prove their authenticity. As a secondary authentication to prevent counterfeit, the coins are marked with a unique magical trace known only to those in charge of the manufacturing.
