Village of Barovia

THE VILLAGE OF BAROVIA IS THE SADDEST place in the land, its residents are so terrified of Strahd that they rarely venture from their homes. The village lies in the shadow of Castle Raven loft, buried under fog but still, unable to hide from the vampire's sight.

Locations

Bildrath's Mercantile - A human named Bildrath Cantemir sells items such as mundane adventuring gear out of this small shop, though the price is very steep.
Blood of The Vine Tavern - This tavern has grown shoddy over the years, though still has a warm fire in its hearth. Arik is the barkeep, a little pudgy human male. the tavern itself is owned by Vistani.
Church of the Morninglord - The village priest is Donavich and he has one son, Doru.

Basic Facts

The Burgomaster of the village is Kolyan Indirovich.
Every night at midnight, one hundred spirits rise from the cemetery and march up the Old Svalich Road to Castle Ravenloft.
Morgantha is a old lady that regularly visits the village to sell her pastries in the streets.

Ireena Kolyana is the adopted daughter to the Burgomaster of the Village of Barovia. Count Strahd has shown a particularly special interest in her.
