Withering Poison
Withering poison is a red, caustic poison with a nauseatingly bitter flavour that attacks a target's nervous system and bloodstream, causing vertigo, vomiting, and has been known to induce miscarriages. It is said that the poison is so unappealing that even spirits steer clear of it.
Withering poison is somewhat special in as far as it is a poison that attacks one's internals both as an injury and an ingestion poison, giving it versatile usage.

History
Withering poison was originally brewed accidentally as a failed attempt at perfecting anaesthetic tincture. The initial assault on the target's nervous system, causing the vertigo and loss of vision, was thought to be indicative of the tincture working. It was only once the violent vomiting and fatal coma set in that it was evident that they had brewed something else entirely.
