Toadbreath pest repellent is a viscous, pale brown liquid with a strong, offensive odour. It is used to repel unwanted bugs and vermin, but for an unknown reason seems to attract amphibians, particularly toads.

Manufacturing process

Made by incomplete brewing of soothing tea.

History

Accidentally created as a result of a failed soothing tea. The resulting concoction did not ease pain or panic as intended but, through a turn of good luck, seemed to drive away rats, insects, and other disease vectors that could have delivered doom to the wounded patient. The patient later complained that, following this treatment, he was ridiculed for his bad breath and his house became infested with toads. These events gave rise to the name of this drug.
