Laurel Berry

Laurel is a perennial evergreen tree that grows in hot climates. It is favoured for its potent leaves and berries. Laurel is associated with divination, wishes, and protection against magic. It is considered a sacred herb to Gorav, Ari, Espo, Noira, Eris, and Mordis.
Laurel trees are often inhabited by Numen, specifically hamadryads or naiads, who complain vocally if and when the tree is harvested for firewood.
