Dwarfs are strong and hardy by nature, perfectly equipped to live in the tough subterranean world. As such, dwarfs gain +2 across Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution at character creation.

Dwarfs may also assign an additional 2 points across the following abilities: Athletics, Blade, Blunt, and Stave.

Traits, Spells, & Special Abilities

Dwarfs naturally have dense muscles, particularly those clustered around their shoulders and backs, which allow them to swing heavy tools and weapons with tremendous force. This is what makes dwarfs especially good miners, but also allows them to purchase Power Attack at any point.
Dwarfs are remarkably well-adapted to a life in the permanent darkness of their subterranean setttlements. Dwarfs may begin with Night Vision levels 1-5.
