Daem

When necros and other atmospheric energy was forcibly recombined into qi in the Nullax a huge influx of energy, originating from a battle of the Senima, led to the accidental creation of a stable, corrupted, recyclable form of qi called daem. Daem is something of a misleading term, as creatures with souls warped into daem are called demons and are often categorised as creatures that have souls of corrupted daem without the divine spark. However, daem was initially named after daemons, which are the original creations of the Senima and the first beings that were not truly divine, but had a divine touch. Daem initially came from the recycled qi of Cera's daemon army, but daemons are not beings that were born with daem souls. In fact, many daemons that did not defect to the Wrathlore's side have souls of pure qi with a divine touch, more like a Numen than a demon.
