Cathartic panacea is a powerful restorative concoction which can be consumed or bathed in. It is pale green in colour with a musky odour and a bitter liquorice flavour.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When a creature ingests or bathes in this concoction (within 5ft of the sachet) they are subjected to the following effects:

• Afflict the individual with hunger, causing them to lose 1EP per 30 minutes until they next eat
• Comfortably warm for 1hr
• Cure any natural diseases the individual has
• Remove self-destructive thoughts for 1hr
• Resist disease for 1hr, giving the individual an additional 1d4 on luck checks against catching a disease, twice as much time between symptom stages, and a difficulty reduction of 1d4 down to a minimum of 2 on their constitution saves against worsening symptoms
• Restore 1d4 HP
• Restore 1d4 wound levels

If used as a bath, it maintains its potency for 30 minutes, after which point it stops conveying any effects to new recipients.

Manufacturing process

Place dried and chopped kneeling archangel in an airtight jar and pour 40-90% alcohol over it. Shake the jar persistently before straining to separate any debris from the solution.
