Blighting Powder

Blighting powder is a black powder that reacts differently depending on how it is used. When applied to plants it bestows upon them the properties of hellebore, from which blighting powder is made, including giving them an acrid flavour. However, when applied to a target, blighting powder has the ability to conceal one from sight.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When this powder is applied to a plant it is subjected to the following effect:

• Permanently gain all the properties of hellebore, both roots and flowers, as well as the existing properties of the plant provided they do not contrast with hellebore's properties

Alternatively, when tossed into the air, living creatures within a 5ft radius is subjected to the following effect:

• Fortify stealth by 1d4 up to a maximum of 10 for 1hr

Manufacturing process

Hellebore flowers and/or roots are dried in a dark location and homogenised until they form a fine powder.
