Mechanics & Inner Workings

When a creature applies this cataplasm to their eyes they are subjected to the following effects:

• Fortify visual perception by 1d4 up to a maximum of 10 for 1hr; this effect only applies to sight
• Resist disease for 1hr, giving the individual an additional 1d4 on luck checks against catching a disease, twice as much time between symptom stages, and a difficulty reduction of 1d4 down to a minimum of 2 on their constitution saves against worsening symptoms

Manufacturing process

Mash the viper's tongue until it is a consistent texture and combine the mass with a small amount of water and bran or flour.
