Water Plantain

Alisma Plantago-aquatica

Shallow water plant with fibrous roots. Long triangular stems grow 3 feet tall with many small three petalled white flowers.

The roots can be turned into a starchy base for a meal.
A powder made from the roots van be used for a cure for rabies.
