Swan Maiden
Moderate Challenge Rating
Beautiful maidens of alabaster skin and straw gold hair, eyes the color of corn flowers and skin smooth as a child. They wear their cloaks of swan feathers to change their form into swans as they fly, taking them off to bath in lakes and streams.
Those wishing to steal one as a bride will take their feather cloaks. These maidens will follow to the home where their cloak is hidden, where the men can woo and marry them. They may live long togeather but the swan will always feel the call of the wild. When they find their cloaks again they will don them and fly into the air, leaving what ever life or family they had built behind.
