Those who thirstforthe life blood of others, Strigoi are humanoid hunters of the night. While heavily bestial with their strong senses and massive conical teeth, older Strigoi have usually learned enough control of their hunger to dress and disguise their form from their prey. The older strigoi also chase the younger specimens into the wilds surrounding the towns theirelders have claimed. This helps keep both the townsfolk and the young hunters safe from one another, and means they eldersdo not have to compete until the youths havelearnedsome control.
Younger Ztrigoi will bed in caves deep underground during the day, as the light of the sun even through canopy can burn their flesh heavily and even lead to death.
