Soften Ranged Damage
The Character has the ability to bend the path of ranged weapons and ammunition to move them away from the character. The character must make a body check to reduce ranged damage by half. The character can not move as long as they are in this stance, but they can attack as normal. Using Soften Ranged Damage counts as a half action, or a half turn action for use of stance and turn.
The body check to reduce damage is effected by the armor worn by the user of the ability:
Supple Armor gives a -10 to the test
Reinforced Armor gives a -20 to the test
Small Plate Armor gives a -30 to the test
Fitted Armor gives a -40 to the test
Heavy Plate gives a -50 to the test
