Shaving Horse

The Shaving bench is a combination of a vice and a workbench. They use the weight of the worker on the shaving horse to hold the wood in place as it is worked with a draw knife or other blade. the Worker sites astreide the shaving horse, and the clamp is operated by the operator pressing their feet onto a treadle bar below. The Foot operated clamp holds the work piece securely in place to allow the working of the wood.
