To search thoroughly or actively through (a place, receptacle, etc.), especially by moving around, turning over, or looking through contents.
This can be a stealthy search or a hapharzdly poke, but it is the active looking through.
This can be used to find items, hidden doors, loose change, hidden monsters, or sleeping guards.
