Resistance

You take only half damage from the element, metal, or damage type that you have resistance too. example: If resistant to fire, a flame spell only deals half of the damage rounded down. A flame bolt dealing 9 damage would only inflict 4 damage to the target. Resistance blunt would mean when hit by a mace dealing 11 damage only 5 damage is inflicted to target.
