Papaya

Carica Papaya

A fruited tree that is sparsely branched with spirally arranged leaves near the top. It has two types of flowers budding off of the leaf bundles that form into a yellow fruit with many round brown seeds inside.

Its fruit is edible and can be made into jams or juices, the black seeds can be used as a spice that is a sharp spicy taste.
Its fruit is used in the treating of malaria, or smoked to help with asthma.
