Orpiment

This yellow gold crystal grows along old hot springs or volcanic chains.
When powdered into dust Orpiment creates a beautiful vibrant yellow dye.
It's high arsenic amount made it useful as a poison and was sometimes smeared onto arrows and darts.
It was used by many alchemists for the purifications of golds as well as other magical proponents.
