Konjac

Amorphophallus Konjac

A long tongued flower whose internal petals are a red and the underside is white with red viens. a stem and feathery leaves grow from a bulbousy root.

The bulbous root can be sliced into long noodles for consumption. It can also be crushed and jellied into a dessert. The roots are also grown to be powdered and turned into a flour for breads and startches.   The foods made from Konjac can be used to help with obesity and constipation.
