Knarr

Trade Ship

A cargo ship of the north east of Eurus and the Skathwawjo shores. An almond shaped ship the knarr is made of the same principles of a longship, includ bladed hull and square mast, but of a wider hull and a deeper draw. The ship is around 53 feet long, and around 8ft at the widest. Its mast is 30 feet with a square 25ft wool cloth sail. The ship is capable of carring 60,000lbs safely, and only needs a crew of 6 to sail safely. the Size and draw weight of the ship allows it to go along the open seas, or into the rivers, its versitility makes it a wonderous ship of trade.
