Hanbo Mask

Helmet

A hanbō mask covers the chin and cheeks of the wearer. The outside usually is worked metal while the inside is lacquered leather. The neck protection consists of three tiers of lacquered leather strips tied with silk straps.
The Hanbo Mask is usually paired with Kabuto, or an Oyashima style helmets, but can be worn by itself. It protects the neck of the wearer from attacks or bites from blood feeding creatures such as vampyres.

The Hanbo adds +1 to head defense of a Kabuto when paired together.
