These foot long flying insects are a deep black colour with bright orange wings. These large wasps attack from ambush to stun and paralyze their prey, they then lay their eggs into the victims living flesh for their young to grow and devour the flesh as they burrow outside. Some larger creatures will survive this process leaving scars where they survived.
