Devynjėgė
Near Impossible Rating
The Moon Maiden, the Archer on the horse, the Wolf in the pack, the Proud Lady, The Huntress in the woods, the Dancer on flowers. Devynjege is the girl of the wilds, the maiden that hunters pray to for a good catch, that peasants ask to keep the beasts away from their fields and livestock. She sleeps in a gourd found deep in the forest, and comes out when the moon rises to dance and hunt among the woods. Her naked form can draw young hunters away from their kills, or trick farmers into the dangers of the woods. Yet she can also lead them out, mute the tread of her followers, grant edible plants to grow, and sight in the darkness.
One must always give thanks for every kill granted and gift the best cut of meat to the wilds, or the best forage of plants to the woods. Her rituals involve dance and a releasing of inhibitions to the primal form of nature, sometimes granting the form of the Moon Wolf upon her followers in battle or in the hunt.
