Covered Wagon

A large wagon with a body 11 ft long, 4 ft wide, and usually 3 ft deep. To help protect the goods or people traveling inside there is a waterproofed canvas bonnet stretched over ribs covering the top of the wagon. A long tongue and yoke structure that extends out the front for teams of two to four draft animals to pull the wagon along. These wagons are made to cary a heavy load of up to 2000lbs.
