Otherwise known as the water pig, these barrel shapped rodents grow to be about 4ft in length and about 2ft tall at the shoulders. Weighing from 77 to 150lbs they are hunted or bred for their meat and hides, and the heavy grease that can be gained from their skin. The Capybara enjoys swimming and spending it's time near watery environments, such as flooded savannah's and along rivers in tropical forests. A Social species they gather in groups that can range up to 20 individuals.
