Maiden of the blade, Mistress of War, Horn maiden of the Fyrd. Brigantia is the goddess of the Fyrd, the militia of freemen that band together to defend their homes and rise up when levies are called. Her followers offer their broken blades and weapons to her by throwing them into rivers. In return she watches over them in battle and helps protect them and their homes. Those that leave their comrades in cowadice or sell out their comrades earn the ire of the Goddess, loosing her favour and cursing their martial ability.

Briganti's Mail = +5 defense to torso, arms, and legs. Has a 25% chance to turn the weapon of an enemy away entierly.
Helm the Horn Maiden = +5 defense to head. Gives a +20 to command checks and a +10 to spot and eyesight checks.
