These beast folk have the colours of a kingfisher bird, and the head, breasts, and hair of a beautiful woman. They are related to their sisters the Sirin's and tend to be the jovial part to the sirin's weaping song. When Alkonost lay eggs on the beach and then roll them into the sea, where they float out into the waves causing storms and tidals until they hatch and fly back to the shore.
