Al-Quam is the dark god of the night, he watches those who worship him in his sleep, and guards his followers. His followers say that it was him that raised the stars in the night sky to act as lanterns to help see at night in the desert, and to help caravans and trade groups guide their way on the sea of sands. Many Guards follow Al-Quam for his defense of the defenseless and his standing guard at night. They Will paint their armour black and blacken any skin that might be seen so that way they refelect no light during the night. Many caravan leaders will sacrifice camels and other draft animals to the God so he will watch over them during their travels and protect them at night from the dangers of the desert. Al-Quam hates raiders and those who do evil at night, such as theives and assassins, and he sends his dark night hunters to chase down these who brake his peace and works and drag them body and soul to his home in the deep desert.
