Hastow
Hastow is a small village of about 500 people that serves as the last stop on the river Buna before fading into a lake which drains into swamp lands. It is a mixture of people consisting of mostly halflings and humans, and some dwarves. Many visitors are only passing through while traveling south to the capital of Baramunz. Started as a river town, it has grown into a travelers welcome while maintaining its small town charm. There are 2 well-run inns featuring halfling hospitality as well as a pair of taverns if you're just stopping for a drink.
The village is run by mayor David Tallbow, a halfling, who is appointed by Lord Alvin Hess, the generous resident noble.
