Baramunz
Baramunz is the capital city of the Falarast kingdom. It is situated on the coast of the Lockheed Bay on the southern coast central to the kingdom. The waterfront spans the entire southern side of the city with docks for all types of ships. The other three sides are protected by 30ft high stone walls with regular guard towers. Gates are accessible on the north, east, and west sides of the city; and the docks are protected in the bay by Lockheed Island and the two smaller channels that open into the sea.
Demographics
Normal Distribution. 50% Human, 25% Halfling, 15% Dwarf, 10% other.
Government
Oligarchy. A few top individuals hold sway, collectively, over the capital. A Lord Mayor acts as the figurehead.
Defences
Surrounded by 30ft stone walls with regular guard towers, heavy military presence.
Heavily Fortified. The capital is surrounded by a heavy wall of wood or stone with several watchtowers built along its length. The gate is double-thickness and reinforced with metal bands. There are additional watchtowers built at various points throughout the surrounding countryside.

History
Origin: Advantageous Position. The site was chosen to take advantage of desirable geographical features. As the location proved itself, it grew which, in turn, created a stronger hold, and so on.
Age: Established. The capital has been around for around 100 years.
