The Planes

Planes are the spiritual and physical realms that make up the cosmos. To say that planes are ‘neighbors’ or ‘in contact’ with another means that beings capable of travelling between planes can go from one plane to its neighbor, but generally not to a plane that does not border the current plane. Each plane with a physical nature follows its own set of natural and arcane laws. Purely spiritual realms are much harder to understand as time and causality only have loose grips on such realms. Instead, these realms are ruled more by symbolic laws and ‘dream logic’.
