Elementals

Magical constructs composed of a single magical element are not a natural feature of Atheron or its planes. However, since the Sundering, human magic users have discovered (some say created) extra-material planes comprised of individual elements. Scholars say that the simple elemental spirits are actually directly created by human spells. However, the more ‘complex’ spirits seem to be spirits that were previously (Wilding) Fae and have shifted their home (and their nature) from the Wode to the neighboring elemental planes.
