Zeon VII

The Untamed World

On the fringes of the North Galaxy lies the lush tropic planet of Zeon VII. After the short war between Earth and Insignia that left both homeworlds ravaged, Zeon VII was founded. Beginning as a small space colony funded by a joint venture between Earth and the Icer Empire, Zeon serves as a beacon of hope for a new era of peace for the galaxy.   Zeon is a large planet, nearly three times the size of the Earth. Sixty percent of the planet is ocean water, fifteen percent fresh water, and the remaining twenty five percent is composed of sprawling rocky mountain ranges, rain forest, and millions of miles of exotic jungle. The planet is dominated by a string of super volcanoes called the Valakut, with the utmost of these elemental furies being Mt. Zaganoshi, a colossal volcano that dwarfs Everest by seven full miles.   The animal kingdom of Zeon VII is dominated by hyper-evolved insects. Zeon Wasps can easily grow to the size of small turbocars, and their hives are built in expansive underground tunnels that go for miles below the surface. Zeon Skimmers are giant amphibious dragonflies that hunt the wild seal and tropic birds that build their nests along the shores of Zeon's vast island chains. Dreadnaught Horned Beetles are massive insects with an exoskeleton that can withstand a full on battery of tank shells, while Cinderpedes are towering jungle wurms that burrow beneath the planet and feed off of rich mineral veins and are known for their ability to spit flames due to the flint that had encrusted in their massive rows of fangs.   Despite these dangers, Zeon VII is a flourishing colony with several dome cities that host unbelievable super technologies created by the merger between Icer and Human scientists. Seabreath City is a capsule city that rests on the surface of Zeon's calmest ocean. Magneta City is a research facility build along the Valakut volcano chain that also serves as a rich mining camp where several new metals including Zentonium has been discovered. And last but certainly not least is Crest City, a residential sector situated on the coast of one of the largest peninsulas on the planet that is nothing less than a tropical paradise.   Although Zeon VII is a new colony, this is not the first time that the planet has been discovered or visited, which is made evident by the many cave paintings and ancient totem temples left behind for the jungle to overtake. It's clear by the discovered writings and the many depictions of the ancient Eternal Dragons that Namekian pilgrims once called Zeon VII their home, but what became of them is a mystery. The elders of Namek itself have no record of their being any Namekian clans sent to the world of Zeon, but the evidence is undeniable. Now Namekian scholars from across the universe are traveling to this tropic world to try and uncover the mysteries that await here.

Tairos Orbital Space Station

  • The Tairos station is a space fortress satellite similar in design to Earth's Legende, but far less grand in scale. It's main cannons are capable of tearing through a small fleet of destroyers, and if concentrated on a single target could easily vaporize one of the smaller moons of Zeon VII. Besides the stations main guns, Tairos also has a small skirmish unit of starfighters to fall back on in case of emergencies. Mostly a military safeguard supplied by the Icer Empire to ensure the safety of its investments on Zeon.

Kolman City

  • One of the largest cities on Zeon VII, Kolman City is home to the largest spaceport on the planet, and is the typical entry point for newcomers travelling on business or with the military. The city is located towards the center of the largest landmass, with all manner of terrain radiating out from it in various directions. The seat of Alliance power on Zeon VII is here, accompanied by a sizeable military base and all of its logistical support, and much of the commerce and business on the planet is centered here as well. While not much of a tourist attraction, there are shops, housing, and restaurants available to cater to nearly all tastes. Recently, this city has seen a large influx of inbound traffic, suggesting something big is in the works.

Crest City

  • Also known as Paradise Cove, Crest City is a man-made Eden built along the coast of the planet's longest pennesula. This capsule city is highly advanced, with towering skyscrapers that cut through the clouds of the low atmosphere. It is a premier vacation spot for the galaxy where the sands of the warm beaches and the crystal blue waters attract the attention of the super wealthy.

Crest City Kee-Ball Stadium

  • Located off shore from Crest City itself on a floating artificial island much like Seabreeze City, the Kee-Ball stadium is a state of the art sports center that focuses on "ascended" level players, men and women who have learned to harness their energy can visit the stadium and par take in super human activities that are broadcast live across the galaxy. While many new sports and equipment have been designed specifically for the stadium, it also serves as a fighting tournament arena.

Morphose Jungle

  • The Morphose jungle is vast territory of forest located on the Crest penesula, the largest of the island continents of Zeon VII. It is a expansive wilderness that goes on for thousands of miles until reaching the Valakut volcano chains. While the planet does have typical wildlife and environment dangers like any other jungle (quicksand, poisonous frogs, etc), the Morphose jungle was given its name for the most harrowing of all the creatures on Zeon VII, the hyper-evolved insects that rule the planet. Ranging in scope and scale, the insects of Zeon VII can be as harmless as the Owl-Eye moths, or as dangerous as the Cinderpedes (colossal wurms that bury beneath the planets surface and feed off of rich mineral veins). The Morphose jungle is an ancient forest, one of the oldest on the planet, and its not uncommon to find remnants of prehistoric civilization. Temples dedicated to the Eternal Dragons have been swallowed by the overgrowth of the jungle itself, but several large sites still retain their amnesty from the ravages of the insects and the flora of Zeon.

Dragon-Claw Spire

  • Whether sculpted by chance, or by design, a site known now as "Dragon-Claw Spire" rises out of the Morphose Jungle. It's a huge megalith of rock that erupts for hundreds of feet above the jungle canopy and is shaped into what looks from afar like titanic black sculpture of its name-sake. Many explorers use the Spire as a landmark when navigating the jungle as its visible for hundreds of miles.

Valakut Mountains

  • The Valakut mountain chain is a large string of active super volcanoes that are situated on the Northern hemisphere of the planet. These volcanoes are immense in size, and their eruptions can cover the sky of the entire planet for weeks at a time with ash and soot if there are multiple active at once. The Valakut chain has slowly expanded over the years as the lava pours into the oceans and creates more landmass. It's estimated that in a few short hundred years the chain will be nearly twice as large as it is now.

Mt. Zagonoshi

  • Though all the volcanoes in the Valakut are impressive, none can inspire the level of awe that Mt Zagonoshi does. Standing nearly seven full miles above the elevation of Earth's Everest, Mt Zagonoshi is a sight to behold. The peak of the volcano is covered in ice, and explorers have even found ancient animals still frozen in the glaciers that have formed around the mountain. Though Mt Zagonoshi is still active, it has not erupted in decades. The ocean waters near Mt Zagonoshi are the most exotic on the entire planet, as the underwater vents that run through the sea basin are given an unbelievable steroid of life by the volcanic heat that escapes into the water. The summit of Mt. Zagonoshi is widely known for the Kiln Rocs that make the top of the mountain their home. The Rocs are giant feathered pterodactyls the size of small airplanes that can fly at mach three, making them incredibly dangerous to encounter either on the mountain's cliffs or the surrounding jungles.

Magneta City

  • Though not a typical attraction for adventurers to Zeon VII, Magneta City is a prominent research center and mining camp where several new, exciting metals and discoveries have been made. Zentonium, a rare element found only so far on Zeon VII, has the incredible power to absorb "ki" energy, and is the primary component in many of the new technologies that have appeared in the past decade.

Cicada Falls

  • Located in the eastern hemisphere of the planet on a secluded jungle island, Cicada Falls is a massive waterfall that erupts from one of the largest mountains on the planet. Nearly three miles high, the Falls is nothing less than extraordinary to behold. The water flow from the falls forms into a vast river that snakes its way for a hundred miles across the island continent until reaching the ocean.

Seabreeze City

  • While many of the other cities on Zeon VII cater to exclusive tastes, Seabreeze City is a mostly generic Capsule City, except for one small facy: The entire city rests on the surface of an ocean. Using cutting edge technology, Seabreeze city was built on gravitational platforms, and in case of powerful tropical storms or tsunamis, the City can even lift off into the sky until the danger has passed. Most tourists visiting Zeon VII arrive at Seabreeze City first before traveling to other and more exotic locations on the planet.
