Quickstart Guide

This article will quickly summarize the early game stages of Dragonball: Infinity, giving you tips on what areas to explore, what equipment you should try and seek out, and what quests you should attempt to complete in order to progress as effectively as possible. This is not a comprehensive guide and assumes that you as the player understand the basic fundamentals of the game and (generally speaking) know how to navigate the MUD. If you have questions regarding specific points within this guide it's best to use the ASK channel and get the help of a veteran on the MUD. Most of our players are more than happy to assist new players.

LEGENDE, Capsules & Transporters

After completing the Supreme Kai's training you'll arrive on LEGENDE space station. This is the "hub" of the game and where Super Mob events take place. There is a station map you can view to give you a better idea of where things are but the most important locations for our guide are the Tesseract transporters located to the northeast, and the capsule shop located to the northwest.
  • STUCK -- You can use the stuck command if you're below 1,000,000 powerlevel. This is essentially a recall ability that will return you to LEGENDE and is essential for moving quickly from zone to zone when you first start playing.
  • LEGENDE TRANSPORTERS -- Located to the northeast of the central station the transporters will take you to nearly every area in the game. Directions: E, E, E, E, E, E, N, E, N, N, N
  • CAPSULES -- Located to the northwest of the central station, the Capsule Shop on LEGENDE is where you can purchase capsules which will take you to specific planets or back to LEGENDE. It's always a good idea to have at least one capsule for emergencies. Directions: W, W, W, W, W, W, N, W, N, N, W, SW

    Early Powerleveling (100-100k PL)

There are a number of different "newbie" zones in the game, but some are superior to others. Sonata Mountains is probably the best starting area for gaining ZENI (money), but Ginyu Base is considered one of the best overall.
    • LEGENDE - Crisis Training Center
    • Planet Namek -- Namekian Fields
    • Sonata Mountains -- Bushido Training Grounds
    • Solatari City -- Training Center
    • Bear Forest
    • Piccolo's Wilderness
    • Rose City -- Gardens
    • Ginyu Base -- Sabaimen Incubators
    • Icerian Proving Grounds

    Starting Abilities, Items & Quests

    • The three most important abilities you'll want to max as soon as possible are Meditate, Sense, and Powerup. You can quickly max both Meditate, and Sense once you're able to practice them by going to Piccolo's Wilderness, standing east of the Sabercat Den and spamming 'Sense West' and meditating once you're low on energy. Once sense has been maxed make sure to type CONFIG +AUTOSENSE and CONFIG +AUTOSENSEPLANET.
    • The Icerian Proving Grounds have some very easy quests to complete that increase initial skills such as Meditate, Fly, Sense, Punch, and Kick.
    • Once you reach 100k PL it's highly recommended that you complete the Dragon Statue Quest on Planet Namek. This quest gives you one of the best starting hold items in the game (see below).
    • There is a shop in Bear Forest which sells some great starting items but they are expensive (see below), and a shop in the Sonata Mountains which sells cheaper items which you may also find useful.

Eternal Dragon Statue -- Quest Reward

Sonata Mountains Shop -- Ashira (Vendor)

Bear Forest Shop -- Lorren (Vendor)

    Rising Power (100k-10m PL)

Once you've reached 100k powerlevel you may need to switch zones, but some of the areas listed previously continue onward for a fair bit longer. Depending on your base powerlevel this "base" range can extend to even more higher tier areas.
    • Ginyu Base
    • Sonata Mountains -- Lacuna City / Bushido Temple
    • The Lotus Temple
    • Kanassa
    • Maima Region
    • Western Forest

    Abilities, Items & Quests

This section of the game has a number of different items and quests that most players will want to pursue, some of which will be dependent on which race you initially chose upon creation. The most important is the quest on Yardrat which you will need to reach using the Homeworld Transport ships (docked on various star ports throughout the game) or buy buying and flying your own ship there.
    • Most players will be able to complete the Yardrat Temple quest to get Instant Transmission once they've reached 5m+ powerlevel. Instant Transmission is one of the most useful skills in the game and will allow you to 'teleport' across the MUD at will.
    • Once you've unlocked the Zanzoken ability there is a quest in the Lacuna City to max it to 100% and receive one of two item rewards, the Makono Chestplate, or the Wrist-Mounted Energy Shield.
    • The Ginyu Base has a set of five nonlayerable items which can be obtained in the middle section which have a total armor rating of 3300 between all the pieces. These items take up the Body, Arms, Feet, Legs, and Hand slots.
    • By collecting one of every pelt found in Western Forest you can get access to a very large bag early on, useful for storing your items. This pack can take some time to acquire, so you might want to instead choose a resilent backpack which can be purchased for 100k Zeni on Planet Plant.

    Makono Chestplate -- Zanzoken Quest

    Mulit-Pelt Rucksack -- Western Forest

    Ginyu Base Gear

Wrist-Mounted Energy Shield -- Zanzoken Quest

    Resilient Backpack -- Planet Plant

    Lotus Temple Quest Items

    Soaring Power (10m-100m)

If you've managed to collect most of the items and complete the quests in the previous sections while being mindful of your stats, and continuing to max your abilities you should have no trouble in this stretch of the grind. There are a handful of other items and quests you may want to complete and collect during this stage.
    • Ginyu Base
    • Maima Region
    • Sonata Mountains -- Wilderness
    • Feldron
    • Majin Wasteland
    • Vegeta's Castle
    • Mt. Areukk

    Abilities, Items & Quests

    • Once you've unlocked the Bodyslam technique there is a short quest in Majin Wasteland which can max the skill to 100% and gives you the ability to also max the Meteor Strike to 100% as well. The Meteor Strike quest can be somewhat difficult and you may want to powerlevel further and get a good damaging attack before you attempt the second part. There is also another quest in the Majin Wasteland requiring you to gather five ruby shards hidden in the zone which rewards a unlayerable arm item called the Majin Torc.
    • Another difficult but worthwhile quest to complete during this section of the game is the Sonata Shrines quest in the Sonata Mountains. You can begin this quest at Po in the Bushido Temple and will have to travel throughout the large wilderness outside Lacuna City to locate shrines and then speak to various masters in the Bushido Temple. This is a long quest but rewards you by maxing the Ki Transfer and Ki Heal skills. You also earn one of five item rewards for completing the quest and if you are Konatsu, you choose your Soul Weapon (an upgradable weapon, signature weapon).
    • Two items worth picking up at this stage are the Opal Visor and Blood-stained Chains from Feldron, dropped by the Icer guards outside the castle to the north and Maksed inside the Feldron bar. The visor is useful for its high armor, and the chains can be warn on a number of different locations and provide powerlevel gains boost.

    Sonata Shrines Quest Items

    Blood-stained Chains -- Feldron (Maksed)

    Ascended Power (100m-1b PL)

This is the last section of our Quickstart guide. Once you reacxh 1b PL you should be familiar enough with the game, its mechanics, and have enough equipment to forge your own path into the final tiers of the game. Continue to max all your skills and be on the lookout for opportunities to pick up cheap, good item from auction or acquire powerful items by fighting supermobs with they spawn on Saturdays or during PABs (Player Activity Bonuses)
    • Maima Region
    • Polluted Delta
    • Yasai Jungles
    • Yardrat Forest
    • Mt. Areukk
    • Temple of the Eternal Dragon
    • Cordican
    • Yemma's Vault
    • Frieza's Ship

    Abilities, Items & Quests

This section of the game has fewer quests than the previous PL stretches, but there is one final set of items we encourage players to acquire.
    • On Planet Namek in the northern section after flying up from Solrun and heading to a small island you can find Ginyu warriors which drop the nonlayerable Hardened Ginyu Gear. Collecting this armor set will easily help you reach the max armor bonus of 8k if you've collecting the other items in this guide. The mobs who drop them are about 500m PL and if you're struggling to load them tryin increasing your LUCK.
