Legendary NPCs

The Dragon Ball: Infinity roleplay universe is vast, and many parts of it still remain unexplored on the CHAT channel. Your character, regardless of their tier, is only one of many powerful and influential individuals. This article hopes to illuminate some of the other powerful beings that exist within the setting and their roles.   These characters are considered "legendary" and require an Adminstrator to run on the CHAT channel (no exceptions!).   In addition to these characters this article will also discuss useful advice regarding NPCs related to major factions, organizations, government and militaries.

Guidelines

During your journey on the roleplay channel there are a number of factions you may stumble across or perhaps even come into conflict with. This ranges from paramilitary organizations such as the Red Ribbon Army, scientists of Capsule Corporation, or special elite squadrons such as the Ginyu Force in terms of relevance and threat.   We encourage players to create these types of factions and enemies and to share them with others as villains and assets, however there are a number of guidelines you should consider before introducing these types of NPCs.
  • What level of threat is this organization / villain? If they pose a major threat to an entire planet or its way of life this should be discussed with an Admin or the RPC (Roleplay Council).
  •
  • Do they have powers, abilities, or knowledge that far exceeds the average player? It can be tempting to create an NPC with ancient knowledge of the 'verse, or one who possesses long forgotten or even 'forbidden' powers but this often goes astray in a shared community of stories or leads to 'deus ex' moments.
  •
  • Are they part of a major military organization or government? In our own real world the 'middle' of the military ranks (such as Staff Sergeant) is generally responsible for every conceivable 'threat' that a military could pose to a player on CHAT. Any rank higher than this is a major indivudal whose involvement has much further reaching consequences.

Superpowers

This section of the article describes the 'superpowers' of the universe. The strongest beings known in the current timeline. A superpower threat is world-threatening. If they are encountered at their full potential, only the strongest beings in the universe can hope to stand against them. These beings are so powerful that their gaze is unlikely to ever fall on anyone below their weight class because they have minions and armies to command for such trifling threats to their reign.
