Dragonballs

The Dragonballs have been an exceptionally rare occurrence in Roleplay since the Tier System was implemented despite them being the namesake of our game, and source material. This System strives to return them to the setting in a fun, character-driven way as a 'reward' for long time participants, and great story-telling.   The Dragonballs in RP will be 'awarded' to players once per month. The Administrative staff will choose the best roleplay of the month, and a participant of the roleplay will receive one of the seven Dragonballs. Once all seven Dragonballs have been awarded, any roleplayer who collects them can summon the Eternal Dragon and make a WISH.

Wishes

Below is a list of wishes which Shenron will provide without consequence. Some of these wishes are narrative, and others may benefit you mechanically.   Your character may choose to make a wish outside of this list, but if they do, the wish will be interpreted by the Administrative Staff and is likely to become 'corrupted'. Corrupted wishes may grant you what you desire, but not in the way you had hoped, and could have other consequences (Such as releasing the Shadow Dragons).
______Wish______
Effect
Immortality You are 'functionally' immortal (you will not die of old age, and you recover from your wounds more quickly than others, but you can still be killed). You can also choose to become "younger".
Mastery You can choose to train under a powerful being, and attempt to learn new techniques and fighting styles.
Restoration You can restore a planet, city, or similar location back to its original state before its destruction.
Rebirth You can wish a person, or group of individuals, back to life.
Wealth You gain an enormous amount of wealth, and can assume a title on a planet of your choosing (such as becoming a Lord of Ng Yelo, or a general of Earth)
Prestige Your 'base' Tier Level is increased by 1.   (Normally you would be required to transform to reach your base level beyond Tier2, with this wish, your 'base' Tier level is increased to T3+). You can make this wish multiple times.

Dragonball Challenges

Similar to challenging another player in-game for their rank, players can submit challenges to other players to take their Dragonballs. A Dragonball Challenge cannot be refused, but the player with the Dragonball has one month to respond to the challenge. A player with a Dragonball can choose to simply give the ball away, rather than fight to retain possession of it, and of course they can rely on their friends, and allies to help them fight the challenger.

Guidelines

  • Your character does not need to 'know' that another character possesses a Dragonball in order to submit this challenge. You may have any number of other reasons to fight that character, and in the aftermath simply discover it.
  • Dragonballs cannot be 'hidden' in such a way that other players cannot reach them. For instance, you cannot place them into a secret, interdimensional space, or build a fortress capable of repelling someone from reaching it.
  • Unlike the in-game Dragonballs, the RP Dragonballs are not bound to one planet, and there will only ever be 'one' set in the 'verse to obtain. The Dragonballs are roughly the size of the Earth Dragonballs from the source material and cannot be broken / destroyed.
  • A Dragonball Challenge must be formally submitted using the RP GBOARD, and responded to by the player who possesses the ball. If the player does not respond, or does not complete the challenge within 1 month, the challenger automatically finds the Dragonball. If special circumstances arise where a player would like to entertain the challenge, but cannot do so, contact the Roleplay Admins for leniency.
  • As a final note, you cannot possess Dragonballs on multiple roleplay characters.

A topic will be added to the RP Logs forum keeping track of who currently possesses each of the seven Dragonballs. Dragonballs -should not- exchange hands outside of direct challenges. Whomever received the ball is responsible for challenges that arise due to it. It is not necessary to 'challenge' another player who possesses a ball if they would freely give the ball away, but if there is no pressing circumstance to release it, they shouldn't be exchanged.
