The madness of Week-Squeek

"I can't even begin to fathom this painting - where did you say you found it?" Sellisbys head auctioneer - found dead two weeks later from suicide   The madness of week-squeek is a warpstone infused painting, painted by the infamous Skaven Seer Week-Squeek.   A series of 11 paintings that are painted in a mixture of the seers blood, bile and warpstone infused pigments atop a canvas made from the flayed skin of a human slave.   Abstract in the extreme - the paintings are said to be a portal to the madness that infect the whole of the Skaven race and are rumored to come with night terrors, hallucinations and visions of the future.   Infamous in collector circles the paintings are the ultimate collector prize, but come with massive risks as some Skaven see retriving the pieces as a chance for promotion in their society.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The paint is compromised of warpstone (a highly charged, volatile and naturally occuring element along leylines) the painters blood and bile.   As the painter is a potent seer - the magically infused paint and their own fluids charges the paintings with visions of the future but considering the madness of the creator, the visions that people will recieve will be hard to interpret and often malicious in nature.

History

Upon completion of the series of paintings - the creator Skaven seer Week-Squeek promptly died.   The paintings were then stolen by other skaven, used to curry favour with the clan heads, and some where then stolen by the drow which were then smuggled topside and sold to rich collectors, all of which died mysterious deaths shortly after owning the paintings.
