Elves - the aloof and isolated
"Ah the Elvish brain is such a delicacy - it is such a shame that abducting an elf carries such a high risk" - Grix'thoracine, head of the Cardiff slave markets
Isolation
To be an elf is to be isolated from the rest of civilisation - elves are highly isolationist and xenophobic.
They live in small isolated groups that are known as "Kyne" and each Kyne tends to lead a nomadic lifestyle.
Each Kyne ranges from 30 - 100 elves and never any larger and each Kyne tends to lean towards one occupation/specalisation
The 4 most well known Kynes are:
Kyne Vorel Clade which are highly regarded biomancers and are one of the few Kyne to have a permenant location on the outskirts of Manchester
Kyne Rix Maadi known and revered for their death defying and dangerous circus acts.
Kyne Rauck-Chau are known for their Druidic practices and tend to roam around the Stonehenge area
Kyne Tolvada Kaya - unoffically known as the eyes of Edinburgh, they keep watch and destroy any undead that roam into the scottish country side.
It is unknown how many Kynes there are and the elves are reluctant to talk.
Ferocious when roused to ire, when the Kynes come together they are a force to be reckoned with.
Outsiders are very rarely welcomed in the Kynes and any information on the internal workings on Elvish heritage and culture are highly guarded secrets.
